		<description>Like so many you miss the point, Simon DID NOT send her home, it was the public by not voting for her, all Simon did was to let the public decide and they did - they clealry prefer a comedy act to her attempts at singing.</description>

This is not purely a &#039;singing&#039; competition  - if it were would all the contestants be young, good looking and marketable? It is an entertainment competition and Simon kept the entertainment value in.
