I think both arguments are valid, my own personal opinion is that it is simply growing the gaming market. This may lead to someone who never would traditionally play games, to begin exerimenting with Farmville for example before eventually moving on to other games... maybe even investing in their own console etc.

Even people doing a random 100 searches per month still increases their share of the search market and thats what they are after. Sounds like a good plan.

It really annoys me when people try to argue that Facebook (and similar) limits meaningful social interaction. Who exactly is defining what 'real' interaction is and its worth? Why is virtual chatting a poorer alternative to face to face contact? Is it not just different but no less meaningful?

They are already on over 100k followers (http://twitter.com/earlybird), with Disney taking full advantage.

I think this would work fantastic over here, and sit very nicely alongside the rumoured Promoted Tweets also making their way across the pond.

There's a fair amount of divided opinion over 'casual-gaming'; some suggesting that it's stifling originality, or that it's dumbing-down videogames to make them easier, or even just popularising what was once a cult/geek (delete as necessary) pursuit. Either way the truth is undeniable; most people have played some sort of game in the recent past, whether on a mobile phone, on the internet or via console - and with market estimations of $1.5bn by 2014 ( http://bit.ly/aiWZSf ) gaming is clearly hear to stay.

The Parent Trap was a great film. Its been downhill from there I'd say.

Maybe during jail time she'll look reflectively at her Mean Girls co-stars Rachel McAdams and Amanda Seyfrieds careers and decide its time to have a bit of a wash and get back to work
